Felt Seahorse Stuffies
Gallery Of Felt Seahorse Stuffies
Today we are adding to our growing collection of with these heart-melting felt seahorses. Our felt animal stuffies are our favorite hand stitching projects, and we know that they are great for kids and adults alike! These felt seahorse stuffies are especially beautiful because they are covered in pretty seed beads and faux pearls to resemble the natural texture of the animal. Time to get started!
Just as with our other felt stuffies, you will need wool felt, poly-fill and embroidery floss for each seahorse. You should be able to find each of the materials at your local craft store or fabric shop. We chose a bright pink and minty seafoam for our felt seahorse set, but these cuties would look adorable in any color. Download the PDF template below for the full materials list and instructions! Next, print the template and cut out each piece of the template to use as a guide for cutting your felt. Start by sewing on the button eyes and then move on to adding the embellishments with a needle and some coordinating embroidery floss. Follow the step-by-step photo tutorial as you craft your felt seahorse set!
- – Magenta 600, Black 310, Linen 3866
- Cut felt pieces according to pattern.
- Sew the two black buttons on eyes using black floss.
- Stitch on the larger lower fins using magenta floss in 5 long straight stitches.

Can these be cut out on a Sihlouette machine? I can’t figure out how to import a pdf to my online library, is there a way to get a jpeg or any suggestions this is all a bit new for me.
Hi Kate! Our SVG files can be used on the Silhouette if you have the Designer Edition of their software . Unfortunately we don’t use the Silhouette in house so we don’t have any more information than that, but hopefully if you reach out to their customer service, they can help you!

Lia can I print this on a cricket? I finally got one today and need some sea animals for school. thank you Libby
Hi Libby, the Cricut doesn’t print, only cuts. The Explore Air machines will cut felt if the material is stabilized first, and the Maker will cut it nicely using a fabric mat. I hope that helps!

I’m wondering about scale. I created a mermaid and I’m wondering if your sea creatures would be the right scale. What approximate size are your sea creatures? Thank you
They are about 6.5″ tall. ????

When I print the pattern and material list and instructions only the pattern is visible. The material list and instructions is a black page with hot pink titles and all else is black and I can see nothing to read???
Make sure you download the PDF to your desktop and are NOT just viewing it in a web browser, as that sometimes doesn’t download all the information properly.

These are so adorable! I am a really dear friend of Lacey Hudson I took care of her when she was a baby. She has been telling me about you and how talented you are for a long time. She sent me a selfie from JoAnns the other day pointing at your new line of kits. I am so happy for you. Good luck, from what I can see you are going to be very successful!
Thank you Denise! Lacey is such a supportive friend and I’m so thankful she told you about my site ????
