I’ve shared a few creative planners here on the blog before, today I’m excited to be sharing my own planner with you! I have been using a modified bullet journal system for my day-to-day and business planning for a few years now ) but I’ve been intrigued by the amazing, artistic planners I’ve seen on Instagram and in the digiscrap galleries for a long time now. So, when I saw that my pal was hosting a creative planning class earlier this year I jumped in and signed up straight away!

Michelle’s course was very inspiring for me and helped me formulate how best to use my planners for productivity AND creativity! I am still using my everyday bullet journal for my everyday business, personal planning and task lists but I’ve also started another journal that I am treating as part sketchbook and part memory keeping project.

I’m recording events and details of everyday life that I want to remember in that new journal, and I’m decorating it and drawing in it too. And I have to say, I’m really enjoying the combination of creative expression and memory keeping!

In My Bullet Journal

I’ve been making both weekly and monthly spreads, with the odd extra memory-keeping or tracker type page included here and there. I’m sure my journals will change and evolve as I continue to use them over time, it’s exciting to see where all this will take me! Here are some pages from my new bullet journal / creative planner:

You can find all Here’s what I used for these pages:

- Scribbles That Matter A5 dot grid journal

- Markers: Tombow Dual Brush pens and Sakura Koi brush pens

- Coloured pencils: Prismacolour Premier and Derwent Studio pencils

In My Bullet Journal

- Fineliners: Uni-Pin fineliner pens

- Date stamps from Waffle Flower, alphabet stamps from Lawn Fawn and Avery Elle

Do you have any draw or plan with me videos I would love to see some of your characters come to life and try them myself

I don’t have any videos of my planning spreads at the moment as I tend to work in short bursts when I get some spare time, so ten minutes here and there! I would like to make some videos though, I’ll have to set aside a chunk of time to work on my planner and record it!

Wow! Your bullt journal is wonderful! Ever consider publishing one? I’d buy it for sure!!!

Thanks Amy! At the moment, I’m just enjoying playing about in my Bullet Journal and drawing whatever I fancy drawing! But I have had several people ask if I would make printables, so it’s something I am thinking about for this year – watch this space!
