Introducing my shiny new Sewing Room

Since moving into our new place just before Christmas, I have been busy beavering away to get our spare room set up as my sewing room. I know, very lucky to have my own room for sewing and craftiness… I’m over the flipping moon with it!

A lot of inspiration was found via Pinterest for a lot of the things I have done, and some ideas my own. I know some people that have already seen the room had asked where I bought certain things, so I’ve tried to detail everything below.

I loved going a little bit crazy with things like loud colours and potentially childish accents… because this room is where I can be myself… and be creative!

Anyway, I’m will definitely be away from the sewing room at 9pm tonight – as will be glued to the TV for The Great British Sewing Bee on BBC2 – cannot wait!

What a gorgeous room, and so tidy and well organised too! I'm more of a knitter than a sewer but I still adore the Sewing Bee, can't wait for the first episode :)

Thank you so much! It has taken a while to get everything just as I want it. I will still be adding odd bits to it!

Thank you lovely! I've just been over to your website - love your sewing! xx

Introducing my shiny new Sewing Room

SUCH a beautiful room! Very close to how I would kit mine out, if I had space to have a separate sewing room. Ooh we have the same iron.

Hiya, sorry for the late reply. Turns out that you left your comment on the day I had my baby :) The thread rack was from Amazon - if you have a search I think it comes up at the top of results. We just screwed it to the pegboard which works well! x
