The ULTIMATE Top Beaches in Cornwall

Last month, I organised a Cornish blogger link-up where we all chose our

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who got involved and wrote fantastic posts about their chosen beaches here in our favourite county! ‘Twas a great way to get to know everyone and I hope you all had fun writing them!

So without further ado, here are the results:

“Vast, striking and breathtakingly beautiful. Gorgeous golden sand at one end and dramatic rocks at the other. Plus a good old National Trust car park and the potential for Seal spotting, whats not to love!” – Abel,

“A place where Mum and I have spent many weekends walking, where I have witnessed stunning sunsets and where Martin first taught me to bodyboard.” – Liv,

“It’s absolutely stunning, and looks like something from the Costa Blanca or Majorca. I imagine it gets exceptionally crowded during Summer, but it really is the most perfect-looking beach.” –

“This one is my favourite beach to spend a full day at – beach towel, snacks and a book. If you walk along the road by the beach you will see The Roundhouse, which quite literally is a little round house. It sells the work of Cornish artists in there and I always find something I want to buy!” – Holly,

“I love the fact that on the beach at Praa Sands is a little bar/restaurant called the Sandbar, which gets crazy busy on sundays when they serve a carvery. It’s such a lovely little beach, located at what feels like the end of the Earth.” – Jess,

“The beach is huge which means there’s nearly always a more secluded spot to lay out your picnic rug. There’s always loads going on and there’s a fab music scene – with the UK’s only bar on the beach!” – Alice,

“Surrounded by vast & impressive cliffs, this sandy beach stretches out to 1.5 miles at low tide. A frequent winner of the Blue flag award & located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this beach is a must see. With a beach shop, surf shop, toilets & a car park right next to the beach, it’s an easy choice for families to visit.” – Chloe,

“In the summer, it looks like it could be abroad somewhere because of the lovely bluey-green colours in the sea. Also, if you happen to visit the Minack Theatre, which is around the corner, you get a lovely view of the bay.” – Jess,

“Gylly is the heart of Falmouth life and the start of our newfound paddle-boarding love. With gorgeous sand and lovely still water it is a great spot for setting up an evening camp for playing and BBQs. ” – Abel,

So there you have it; the definitive list of the most awesome beaches in the South West. Let me know what you think of the results below!

P.S. It was close, but I believe North Coast wins!
